Dr Guerci&#8217;s lecture titled, \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CQb_Gi0H9gc\">Urban transformations in Rome during the pontificate of Alexander VII Chigi, the great patron of Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1655-1667)<\/a>\u2019, was part of a series of lectures on a variety of historical topics organised by Professor Giovanni Aldobrandini, Dr Guerci&#8217;s PhD benefactor at St John&#8217;s College, Cambridge.<\/p>\n<div class=\"kent-video-wrapper\"><span class='embed-youtube' style='text-align:center; display: block;'><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='1140' height='672' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CQb_Gi0H9gc?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen='true'><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>Dr Manolo Guerci also gave a lecture earlier this year, as part of the recent Summer Series, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EM9KhssL5dk\">&#8216;Palladio and Palladianism, Genius versus Pragmatism&#8217;<\/a>, which is available to watch on YouTube.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior Lecturer and Director of Graduate Studies, Dr Manolo Guerci, delivered a public lecture earlier this week, on Monday 23 November.
