{"id":3704,"date":"2020-11-19T09:45:45","date_gmt":"2020-11-19T09:45:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ksa\/?p=3704"},"modified":"2020-11-19T09:45:45","modified_gmt":"2020-11-19T09:45:45","slug":"stage-3-ba-student-matthew-maganga-writes-article-for-involved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ksa\/2020\/11\/19\/stage-3-ba-student-matthew-maganga-writes-article-for-involved\/","title":{"rendered":"Stage 3 BA student, Matthew Maganga, writes article for Involved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/4\/architecture\">BA (Hons) Architecture<\/a> Stage 3 student, Matthew Maganga, has recently written an article titled, &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/involvedmag.com\/the-art-of-the-walk-my-love-letter-to-walking\/\">The Art of the Walk: My Love Letter to Walking<\/a>&#8216; in INVOLVED: The voice of the architecture student.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the Stage 3 Urban Intervention project brief, Matthew explained how his current project made him reflect about his experiences of walking through the various cities he has visited, &#8220;I guess about the urban intervention project &#8211; the brief is to create a greener and more walkable city &#8211; so the article was in part a reflection of how we interact with spaces while walking through them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Stage 3 Urban Intervention project, convened by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/architecture-planning\/people\/1084\/karydis-nikolaos\">Dr Nikolaos Karydis<\/a>, is titled, &#8216;Canterbury: Redesigning the fringe of a <span class=\"LrzXr kno-fv\">CO<sub>2<\/sub><\/span>-free city&#8217;.
