{"id":1934,"date":"2017-10-06T09:44:25","date_gmt":"2017-10-06T08:44:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ksa\/?p=1934"},"modified":"2020-04-23T09:38:14","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T08:38:14","slug":"ksa-phd-student-davina-jackson-to-speak-at-twentieth-century-society-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ksa\/2017\/10\/06\/ksa-phd-student-davina-jackson-to-speak-at-twentieth-century-society-event\/","title":{"rendered":"KSA&#8217;s Dr Davina Jackson to speak at Twentieth Century Society event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Australian architectural historian and critic Davina Jackson, who has completed her PhD at KSA, will be speaking next week at a special event in London held by the Twentieth Century Society and The Modern House estate agency in London.<\/p>\n<p>The event, entitled &#8216;Douglas Snelling &#8211; Pan-Pacific Adventures in Modern Design and Architecture&#8217; will take place on Monday 9th October at 6.30p-m in FCB Studios 20 on Tottenham Street in London.<\/p>\n<p>Davina Jackoson is the author of the first study of Douglas Snelling&#8217;s pan-Pacific life an works. Based in Sydney, Davina works as an author, editor and curator and writes extensively on modernist architecture and design in Oceania.
