Professor Marialena Nikolopoulou listed as one of the 2% of researchers in the world for the second year

We are thrilled to announce that Professor Marialena Nikolopoulou, Deputy Head of School, has been included among the top 2% of the most influential researchers in the world for the second year running, according to the study published by Stanford University and Elsevier. The database includes all disciplines with only 0.52% of the entries in the field of ‘Built Environment & Design’ globally, further highlighting her achievement and the impact of her work.

Professor Marialena Nikolopoulou founded the Centre for Architecture and the Sustainable Environment, and is also Programme Director for the MSc Architecture and the Sustainable Environment, and the UK lead for the Solutions for Outdoor Climate Adaptation (SOLOCLIM) European Industrial Doctorate, and is an internationally renowned speaker.
