KMTV is dedicated to making film and television production a more sustainable industry.
As part of our endeavour, KMTV Producer & Executive Assistant, Mariam Yacoub, has recently attended sustainability training and is implementing a ‘Green memo’ that will be adhered to for all productions.
The Green Memo covers all aspects of sustainability from office policies on printing to travel and the use of rechargeable equipment rather than disposables.
This memo is just the start, on 23 March 2022 KMTV’s new climate change show, Kent on Climate will be taking a look at environmental issues across the county: from how the changing climate is impacting people in Kent, to what people here are doing to tackle the crisis. Host and producer Jadzia Samuel will be reporting on local environmental news and speaking with expert guests in the studio to offer a closer look at these topics. Kent on Climate will be available every Wednesday 6.30-7pm on Freeview channel 7, Virgin 159 or live streamed via KMTV online.
