20 June 2019
13.30 to 17.00
Lecture Theatre 1, Sibson
University of Kent Canterbury Campus
Join us in June for a free event showcasing some of the latest developments in machine learning, from artificial intelligence in robotics to cyber security and big data
Machine Learning or AI, is changing how we work —from intelligent supply chains, to product-as-a-service offerings, to factories of the future—and providing the catalyst for new business models, products, services and experiences.
Microsoft’s research shows that those already on the AI journey are delivering a 5% improvement on factors like productivity, performance and business outcomes compared to those that are not. (Michael Wignall, Microsoft UK’s technology expert, The Manufacturer 24 April, 2019.)
The afternoon will be a mixture of presentations and discussion from businesses and experts from three different schools at the University: The School of Engineering & Digital Arts, The School of Computing and The School of Mathematics, Statistics & Actuarial Science. You will gain insights into the analysis and interpretation of complex data and data patterns for a variety of applications, reflect on how Machine Learning can be applied to your business sector and network with others who have an interest in this area.
