We Are Listening to Your Business Needs

Business people sat in a seminar room

Local businesses are invited to help the University of Kent and Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce to deliver to your needs and those of our region.

In partnership with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, we are listening to businesses in the region to find out what expertise and business support could help you to increase your business productivity and growth.

You are invited to a series of workshops where you will have the opportunity to discuss your business’ concerns and experiences in a dynamic round table facilitated discussion with us and other forward-thinking businesses. This will be followed by a presentation led by one of our academic experts offering an insight into the latest research in this area.

The workshop themes and dates are:

Cyber Security Challenges – Tuesday 17 May

Workplace Wellbeing – Thursday 26 May

Creativity, Culture and Heritage – Tuesday 14 June

Environmental Sustainability Strategy – Tuesday 28 June

We have a long-standing relationship with the Chamber and are delighted to have renewed our Patronship with them for the 4th year running. As the region’s largest business support organisation, working with them enables us to understand and respond to the region’s business challenges and to connect with and listen to businesses on a regular basis. This informs our practical research which can be linked to local needs and creates opportunities for innovation and growth – but we can always do more!

We need your input to help us deliver to your needs and those of our region, so we hugely encourage you to come along and play your part in helping to shape the future of business in Kent and Medway. Find out more about each workshop and register on our events page.
