Yesterday saw the announcement of two important Government strategies: the UK Innovation Strategy: Leading the Future by Creating It; and the R&D People and Culture Strategy: People at the Heart of R&D.  Both strategies focus on the crucial role to be played by innovation in building a greener, healthier, and more prosperous future for the UK. They also highlight the importance of people, culture, and the nurturing of talent, as well as collaboration.

The University of Kent already plays an important role in the development of new technologies, and in innovation more generally. We recognise the importance of a healthy and supportive research and innovation culture, and we also champion a collaborative approach in addressing global challenges through our work.
