Dr Dieter Declercq, Lecturer in the School of Arts at the University of Kent

Dr Dieter Declercq is Lecturer in Film and Media Studies at the University of Kent. He’s interested in our relationship with popular media and how we can harness the stories we consume in our professional and personal lives. He is the author of Satire, Comedy and Mental Health: Coping with the Limits of Critique (forthcoming, Emerald) and has published in journals including The Journal for Aesthetic and Art Criticism and Ethical Theory and Moral Practice.
