Dr Maria Balta, Senior Lecturer in HR Management and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Kent

Dr Maria Elisavet Balta is currently a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management in Kent Business School. Prior to joining the University of Kent, she was a Lecturer in Strategy at Brunel Business School, where she holds a PhD in Management Studies and MSc in Human Resources and Employment Relations.

Maria is currently working on a project which explores occupational health delivery through technology and has contributed to Cambridge University Press for their International Human Resource Management textbook.

Recently, Maria has co-authored the article, The use of Digital Technologies by Small and Medium Enterprises during COVID-19: implications for theory and practice.

Dr Maria Balta will be speaking about “The Role of Digital Technologies on the Response of SMEs Owners During the Covid-19.”
