Last week top performing students from the University were joined by key stakeholders, local businesses and supporting organisations for the eighth Employability Points (EP) Scheme rewards event.
On Tuesday 5 June 2018, hundreds of students, university staff and representatives from external organisations descended on the University’s beautiful Royal Dockyard Church to celebrate the successes of the Employability Points Scheme.
The EP Scheme rewards students for engaging in activities outside their degree programme, encouraging students to stand out to prospective employers through the development of ‘soft skills’ that are valued in the competitive graduate job market. This year was a record year, with School of Arts student Miguel Santos becoming the first student ever to achieve over 3000 points.
Congratulations to all the students who took home rewards and thank you to all the organisations who help to make the scheme such a success.
