Two teams from the University’s Hub for Innovation and Enterprise are through to the regional finals of the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards competition.
The teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges at the next round of the event in London at the end of June.
Alumni Josh Clarke (School of Psychology) and Joe Shepherd (School of History) are regional finalists in the technology category with OCCUMI – an online platform that aims to help graduates improve their employability through transferrable skills identification on their CVs.
The non-technology category regional finalists Saga Rad (Kent Law School) and Daniella Golden (School of Politics and International Relations) presented TODO – an online platform for engaging volunteers and providing an opportunity for ethical shopping.
