In 2015 Kent Innovation and Enterprise helped Kent Business School and The Port of Dover embark on a 2 year Knowledge Transfer Partnership to improve traffic flow at the Port’s Eastern Docks.
The project came to a close towards the end of last year and has significantly helped to reduce traffic congestion, boost efficiency and cut costs for the Port. This lead to the project being awarded a grade of ‘Outstanding’ by the KTP Grading Panel at Innovate UK, a grade that only 10% of KTP projects achieve.
You can read more about the project on Kent’s News Centre or contact the team here to find out how your business can benefit from a KTP by emailing enterprise@kent.ac.uk
