We&#8217;re really excited to update on two major projects we&#8217;ve been working on over the summer&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Major upgrade of the gym<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Exciting news! Following 10 days of hard work removing the old equipment, clearing and refreshing the space, and installing over 100 brand-new state-of-the-art equipment stations from Technogym complimented by a full range of new accessories including dumbbells and kettlebells, free weight plates and bars as well as multiple Wall Training Stations, the gym is now open and ready for use!<\/p>\n<p>While 95% of the equipment is now in place, work will continue on installing the final few pieces of kit and on refreshing the space further over the next few days. We are also waiting on works to support the equipment connectivity to the Technogym App which will be completed later this Term.\u00a0 Finally, we will be rolling out new improvements and working with our customers over the next few months on how the design of the space should evolve. To create fitness spaces that better support our members and their goals, and give you an even better place to train, move and look after your wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>The Studio will also feature 16 new stationary Group Exercise Cycles, allowing us to introduce interactive Technogym Ride classes to the Autumn Term timetable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why are we doing this work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our gym and fitness spaces have been working hard for our members, and we know they\u2019ve been pushed to their limits. This significant refurbishment is an exciting opportunity to give these spaces the upgrade they deserve, creating a refreshed environment with new gym equipment, improved fitness facilities and enhanced services for you to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re also pleased to confirm our new partnership with Technogym, a global leader in fitness and wellness technology. Technogym will help us transform our fitness spaces and Studio classes, bringing together state-of-the-art equipment, training services and digital experiences to create an even better experience for our members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is just the beginning\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the next 12 months Kent Sport, together with Technogym, will be bringing life to the space with new visuals and design features as well as connectivity to the Technogym App and other digital platforms . Ways To Be Well is our new nutrient dense, convenient food and drink range to help fuel your body and mind. The Pit Stop replaces the Sports Caf\u00e9 at the Sports Centre and will be serving a range of delicious food and drink options from smart vending machines.
