Kent Sport hosted the Indoor Games event as part of the 2026 Staff Varsity series. The evening consisted of boccia and badminton before finishing with a game of dodgeball. There was a friendly and communal atmosphere throughout the event, with both teams enjoying the opportunity to compete and socialise.<\/p>\n

Christchurch narrowly won the boccia and also claimed victory in the badminton, taking a 2\u20130 lead and guaranteeing they would win the Indoor Games event. With pride still to play for, Team Kent produced an excellent performance in the dodgeball, dodging and weaving their way to victory to finish the evening on a high.<\/p>\n

The highlights of the evening included seeing people return to badminton after more than 10 years away from the sport, participants socialising and having a laugh during the boccia games, and the fantastic atmosphere throughout the event.<\/p>\n

With the Staff Varsity series now standing at 2\u20131 to CCCU, attention now turns to pickleball, where Team Kent will be aiming to draw level.<\/p>\n
