We&#8217;re really pleased to announce that our popular outdoor tennis courts are now open and ready for all you wannabe tennis stars to take to the court!<\/p>\n<p>We have two full-size tennis courts available on the Astro pitch at The Pavilion (opposite Park Wood accommodation). These can be booked for recreational games with friends, or join the weekly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sports\/all-active\"><strong>ALL Active tennis sessions<\/strong><\/a> for social and coached games.<\/p>\n<p>All Kent Sport members are welcome to book the outdoor tennis courts through <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kentsport.kent.ac.uk\/lhweb\/en\/members\/home\">your online account<\/a><\/strong>. The courts will be available throughout the summer until mid-September.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Outdoor court guidance<\/h3>\n<p>The outdoor tennis courts are located on the Astro pitch at the Pavilion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"noSpacingAbove noSpacingBelow\" data-text-type=\"noSpacing\">When playing outdoors, please observe the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"customListStyle\">\n<li>Report to the Pavilion reception on arrival to check-in for your booking.<\/li>\n<li>In hot weather, wear a sun hat. Apply suncream before and top-up if necessary during your booking.<\/li>\n<li>Wear sensible clothing and footwear (trainers or court shoes are fine).<\/li>\n<li>Bring a water bottle. There are bottle refilling stations at the Pavilion.<\/li>\n<li>Take regular breaks.<\/li>\n<li>If you feel unwell at any point, stop playing and seek help from the Pavilion staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions about booking the outdoor tennis courts, please contact the Kent Sport team on 01227 827223 or via email <a href=\"mailto:SportsEnquiries@kent.ac.uk\">SportsEnquiries@kent.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>ALL Active for the public this summer<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;re excited to announce that, for the first time ever, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sports\/all-active\">ALL Active sessions<\/a><\/strong> will be <strong>open to the public throughout the summer<\/strong>! If you, your friends, or family members would like to take part, all you need to do is create a membership and book onto the chosen sessions.<\/p>\n<p>ALL Active sessions are free for Kent Sport Premium Plus and Plus members. Pay to Play members pay the per-session booking rate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">University of Kent Staff, students, and alumni: \u00a33 per session<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">General public: \u00a38.50 per session<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Adults aged 55+: \u00a37.50 per session<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Don&#8217;t have a membership?<\/h3>\n<p>Don&#8217;t worry, it&#8217;s free to join Kent Sport with our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sports\/membership\">Pay to Play membership<\/a><\/strong> and you only pay for the bookings you make. Our Pay to Play membership is a great way to experience everything we have to offer on a pay per session basis.
