KAFL Cup Final- Old Boys 2-3 vs Classic XI<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Classic XI sealed a memorable season by completing a\u00a0<\/span>dramatic comeback<\/span><\/b>\u00a0in the KAFL Cup Final, just after securing the KAFL League title. They edged out Average Old Boys\u00a0<\/span>3\u20132<\/span><\/b>\u00a0in a tense, hard-fought finale.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In sweltering UK heatwave conditions,\u00a0Old Boys struck first, moving 2\u20130 ahead through\u00a0<\/span>Taran Matharu<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Zach Hulme<\/span><\/b>. But the momentum shifted after the break.\u00a0<\/span>Omer Rawashdeh<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Thomas Eynaud<\/span><\/b>\u00a0took control,\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span>Thomas<\/span><\/b>\u00a0scoring twice to overturn the deficit and earning Player <\/strong><\/span>of the Match<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Parkwood FC and Eliot produced a gripping\u00a0Inter<\/span>\u2011College\u00a0Cup Final, with both sides showing strong organisation and intensity throughout the match.\u00a0Parkwood\u00a0struck first, capitalising on early pressure, but\u00a0Eliot\u00a0responded well and found an equaliser\u00a0through a penalty.\u00a0Despite chances at both ends, neither team could find a winner, and the 90 minutes ended\u00a0<\/span>1\u20131<\/span><\/b>, sending the final straight to penalties with no extra time played.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The shootout was as tight as the match itself.
