Here&#8217;s a quick rundown of the action:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Petanque<\/strong>: Straight from France, teams aimed their boules to get as close as possible to &#8220;the jack.&#8221; The closer you are, the more points you score!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Molkky<\/strong>: A Finnish favorite, this game is like bowling but with a twist. Knock down numbered pins to score, but be careful\u2014first to 50 wins!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ladder Golf<\/strong>: Toss your bolas onto the ladder rungs to score. Each rung has a different value, so aim wisely! First to 21 takes the win.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Giant Jenga<\/strong>: Everyone&#8217;s favorite stacking game, but supersized! Teams carefully removed blocks until&#8230; <em>crash! <\/em>The tower came tumbling down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Shoutout<\/strong> to <strong>Campus Sporting Exploits<\/strong> for dominating the day, winning 4 out of 5 matches! Also, hats off to <strong>DoNATS <\/strong>and <strong>Happy Ravers<\/strong> for their strong performances.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/files\/2024\/08\/VC-Cup-blog-images-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8225\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/files\/2024\/08\/VC-Cup-blog-images-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Day 2: More Games, More Fun!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Day 2 brought a fresh batch of games: <strong>Cornhole, Bat and Trap, Kubb,<\/strong> and <strong>Quoits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cornhole<\/strong>: An American classic! Toss beanbags onto a board, aiming for the hole. It&#8217;s 1 point if it lands on the board, 3 if it goes through!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bat and Trap<\/strong>: This English pub game from Kent is all about precision. Hit the trap to launch the ball and score by hitting it between posts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kubb<\/strong>: A Swedish strategy game where you knock down your opponent&#8217;s wooden blocks before taking down the King Kubb for the win.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quoits<\/strong>: Think of it like horseshoes, but with rope rings!
