{"id":7051,"date":"2026-01-30T09:00:36","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T09:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/?p=7051"},"modified":"2026-01-30T14:08:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T14:08:38","slug":"kent-sports-community-tennis-open-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/kent-sports-community-tennis-open-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Sport Community Tennis Open Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone in the University community is welcome to book a free 45-minute session with our Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) qualified coaching team during our next <a href=\"https:\/\/clubspark.lta.org.uk\/UniversityofKent\/EventsV2\/Junior\"><strong>Community Tennis Open Day<\/strong><\/a> on Saturday 21 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Located within the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sports\/contact-us\">Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena at the Pavilion outdoor facilities<\/a><\/strong>, you\u2019ll be able to experience the fantastic indoor acrylic courts, play a few friendly games, and chat with our experienced coaching team.<\/p>\n<p>Bookable slots start at 9am for adult and Youth Start sessions, plus there are multiple junior and children\u2019s sessions, so there\u2019s plenty of opportunity for you or your children to get involved. We also offer the option of booking your place without the need to choose a session to join.
