The studio has enhanced lighting and sound and can be split in two for more intimate classes. The studio is an ideal environment for group exercise and has the capacity for a wide range of classes. The studio features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Top-quality sprung wooden floor<\/li>\n<li>Mirrored walls<\/li>\n<li>Mood and effect lighting<\/li>\n<li>Hearing loop<\/li>\n<li>Air-conditioning<\/li>\n<li>31 studio Spinners (stationary bikes)<\/li>\n<li>Various weights equipment including barbells, plates, and dumbbells<\/li>\n<li>Mats, exercise steps, and exercise balls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Class timetable<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Kent Sport has designed a broad timetable combining virtual classes and face-to-face instructor-led classes. Whether you&#8217;re looking for a hardcore HIIT-style workout or a more delicate but intensive flow, our timetable has something for everyone. Timetables are dependent on instructor availability and the time of year. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>In-person instructor classes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Join our qualified class instructor team in the studio at the Sports Centre as they deliver a full programme of popular group exercise classes. Our weekly timetables run throughout the year and include a variety of cardiovascular, conditioning, and holistic formats with our in-person instructors. Enhanced mood lighting and music will create the perfect atmosphere for you to really engage in the classes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class breakdown:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Body Blast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Body Blast is a mixture of medium intensity and low impact workouts with concentration on the stomach and lower body extremities. It\u2019s a fun, effective class and the best way to see conditioning results fast!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 45-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Mats and weights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/booiakamovement\"><strong>Booiaka<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Booiaka combines all genres of music and dance styles into unique, fun, and easy-to-learn choreography for all ages.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 45-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: None<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxfituk.com\/\"><strong>Boxfit<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Boxfit teaches the physical and technical aspects of how to throw a punch and how to use the pads in this fun-filled, action-packed circuit class.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 45-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Boxing gloves, pads, and mats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spinning.eu\/\"><strong>Cycling \/ Spinning<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cycling and Spinning classes burn calories, build cardiovascular fitness and strength on a stationary spinning bike. Instructors guide your resistance and develop your power through transitioning and different riding positions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 30-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Stationary bike<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Legs, Bums, and Tums<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Legs, Bums, and Tums (LBT) is a low-impact workout class concentrating on the stomach and lower body extremities. See virtual class descriptions below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: Various<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Various<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pilates \/ Pure Pilates \/ Power Pilates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pilates is a slow, gentle exercise class with an emphasis on breathing and body awareness to strengthen the physique.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 45-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Mats, weights, and resistance bands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stretch, Tone, and Relax<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stretch, Tone, and Relax (STR) is a rejuvenating class that nourishes the mind and body with stretching and toning exercises suited to all individuals. Wake the body up and increase energy levels with this full body stretching workout.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 45-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Mats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Yoga \/ Hatha Yoga \/ Vinyasa Yoga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yoga incorporates fluid ascetic postures, stretches and exercises. Complete integration of the mind and body balances fitness and promotes health. Awareness and connection is focused upon to improve wellbeing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duration: 45-minutes<\/li>\n<li>Equipment provided: Mats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zumba.com\/en-US\"><strong>Zumba \/ Zumba Gold<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow moves. The dance routines feature interval training sessions, combining fast and slow rhythms that burn fat and tone your body. Virtual classes are also included in Plus memberships. Pay to Play members pay the per session booking rate depending on whether you are a student, staff, alumni, or member of the public.
