{"id":3482,"date":"2017-06-16T16:17:44","date_gmt":"2017-06-16T15:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/?p=3482"},"modified":"2017-06-16T16:17:44","modified_gmt":"2017-06-16T15:17:44","slug":"inter-college-football-league-elect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/inter-college-football-league-elect\/","title":{"rendered":"Inter College Football League Elect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday 2\u00a0June, ICFL Elect, the best 16 players from the Inter College Football League, lined up to face Kent FC Men\u2019s 2nds XI in a one off charity exhibition match raising money for Cancer Research UK.<\/p>\n<p>From the\u00a0outset the chances were there and both sides were fighting hard to make the breakthrough.<\/p>\n<p>However, Kent FC soon made the break through with a goal from Milo Whittaker. 3 more goals from George Hebden Lee, Jamal Simms and Deniz Alp of Kent FC saw Kent FC run away with the game with a 4-0 lead before half time.<\/p>\n<p>After half time the ICFL Elect team bolstered their defence and the score remained 4-0 until the end of the game.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Kent FC on their victory.
