Forget Wimbledon or the World Cup Final, the SoccerZone Cup is the place to be!<\/p>\n<p>Five\u00a0groups battled it out over ten\u00a0fixtures to secure a place in either the cup competition (Champions League) or plate competition (Europa League).<\/p>\n<p>For the past few years, The Rolling Stoners have dominated the SoccerZone Cup winning multiple titles, however a penalty shoot-out at the quarter final stage of the cup competition saw them bow out to one of our newest teams, Sexy FC.<\/p>\n<p>Sexy FC progressed to the semi-finals but were overcome by the skill of Ain\u2019t No Holebas Girl.<\/p>\n<p>In the plate competition a bye in the semi-finals saw an easy route to the finals for Rockhead Rumble who were eventually joined by another one of our new teams, GG\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>The plate final came down to a nerve racking penalty shootout after a dramatic 4-1 to 4-4 comeback by Rockhead Rumble. However, the fairy-tale story ended with GG\u2019s winning the penalty shootout and with that were crowned the SoccerZone plate champions.<\/p>\n<p>In the cup competition, after eight\u00a0gruelling matches and 150 minutes of football, CFC were crowned SoccerZone Cup champions after a victory against Ain\u2019t No Holebas Girl in the final. CFC complete the double, winning both their league and their cup competition.<\/p>\n<p>You can see some of the action from the SoccerZone Cup in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/unikentsports\/photos\/?tab=album&amp;album_id=1361195470613412\">Facebook album<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kent Sport will be running another SoccerZone Cup competition in the summer term, Friday 2 June, so there is still time to get your hands on some silverware.
