{"id":1925,"date":"2016-02-22T17:29:55","date_gmt":"2016-02-22T17:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/?p=1925"},"modified":"2016-02-22T17:29:55","modified_gmt":"2016-02-22T17:29:55","slug":"vice-chancellors-cup-volleyball","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kentsport-news\/vice-chancellors-cup-volleyball\/","title":{"rendered":"Vice-Chancellor&#8217;s Cup &#8211; Volleyball"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week we saw the Vice-Chancellor&#8217;s\u00a0Cup heating up with\u00a0volleyball.\u00a0All 20 departments registered staff teams to play with great success from both the rookies and the veterans.<\/p>\n<p>Kent Business School proved they were a force to be reckoned with winning all but one of their games. Followed closely by the School of History in second and Information Services in third.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Davis on the Record Profits team said &#8220;Having taken part in the Cup last year I was very impressed with the organisation for Volleyball this year: I thought it was a major improvement having fixed courts and 5 minute matches.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A special mention must go to the new departments; School of Arts, History, and The Deanery for starting strong and fully immersing themselves into the Vice-Chancellor\u2019s Cup fun and games.
