With fixtures taking place for the majority of sports. Here is an update on the Inter-College Cup so far.

Grand Finals

Last Tuesday saw the final round of the Chumash Inter-College competition for this term. After some really tough competition all term, it was a Darwin versus Turing & Woolf final. After a close fought game Darwin Outlaws were able to come away securing a rather convincing 4-1 win to become crowned Chumash Champions. Tur/Woolf having to settle for 2nd place, followed by Rutherford in 3rd, Eliot in 4th and Keynes in 5th place. The question is can Darwin and Turing keep their cool against Rutherford who finished top of the league? We are sure to find out this Tuesday.

Football

The league has just completed its sixth week. So there is still everything left to play for. The current table has Raiders in 1st place on 16 points. They are currently undefeated having won 5 and drew 1 of their 6 games. Close behind them is Medway Mavericks, new comers to the league on 13 points, who currently only been defeated by third place team Turing FC, also new comers this season. Mavericks and Raiders are yet to meet in the league and we are all very excited for this fixture.

Badminton

Badminton has had a rocky start with some colleges struggling for players. However for all those involved the competition is fierce. To date Rutherford are slightly running away with it, with both strength and depth of players, but they can still be caught. It’s not too late to get involved and represent your college.
