Join us at the Cycle Hub launch event

Kent Sport are pleased to welcome everyone to the launch event of our newest facility on campus, the Cycle Hub on Thursday 11 May.

The launch of the Cycle Hub will conclude the inaugural Kent Sport Cycling Festival, two weeks of cycling-related activities and events aimed at cyclists of all ages and abilities. The official launch of the Cycle Hub will feature the Tandem Men John Whybrow and George Agate, the Kent alumni who are awaiting verification for setting a world record for riding around the world on a tandem.

Ben Trott, Assistant Director (Operations), for Kent Sport said “The Cycle Hub is another great addition to the University sports facilities, helping to support the growing demand for sport and recreation activities on campus.”

Guests are encouraged to meet at the Cycle Hub from 12.30pm. The ceremony will then start at 12.45pm with speeches, a plaque unveiling ceremony and photos. A free buffet lunch will follow in the Pavilion Café Bar, and tours of the Cycle Hub will be offered.

If you would like to attend the event, please RSVP to DirectorKentSport@kent.ac.uk stating any dietary or access requirements.
