UNDERGRADUATE DISSERTATION PRIZE\u00a0– History of Medicine, Ethics and Medical Humanities<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2016 the Centre for the History of Medicine, Ethics and Medical Humanities launched a new prize for the best third-year undergraduate dissertation in medical history to celebrate the excellent work carried out by many of the School of History\u2019s undergraduate students.<\/p>\n

The inaugural prize was presented at the School of History\u2019s Graduate Party by Dr Juliette Pattinson to the winner Kate Docking for her dissertation on Human Experimentation at Ravensbr\u00fcck Concentration Camp.<\/p>\n

The prize (\u00a3100 cash) is awarded annually to the best third-year undergraduate dissertation in the history of medicine, ethics and medical humanities.<\/p>\n

HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Undergraduate students wishing to be considered for the 2018 prize should submit an electronic copy of their dissertation to the Centre\u2019s Deputy Director, Dr<\/strong> Claire Jones (C.L.Jones-26@kent.ac.uk)<\/strong>. The deadline for submission will be 15th<\/sup> June 2018<\/strong>. The winner will be announced at the beginning of July.<\/p>\n
