The first day of Spring always signals something special. This year Kent Law Clinic chose this day to host a very memorable Spring Party to celebrate and say thank you to all the volunteer legal professionals that support the Clinic. This party was organised by our wonderful Clinic Ambassadors and volunteer students, who all worked very hard decorating the Clinic, preparing some mean cocktails and spectacular food.
The evening proved a great opportunity for students to chat to the volunteer advisers in person about their experience in legal practice and the work the Clinic does.
Many thanks to all the professionals who came from local solicitors’ firms, barristers’ chambers and Citizen’s Advice. Amongst them there were recent graduates of the university some who have started working in local firms and recently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exam.
Overall, the evening was a huge success. The Clinic was packed and it was fantastic to see so many people coming together to celebrate being part of the Clinic community, especially on such a sunny spring evening.
