MBA 2019, India

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” Winston S. Churchill

I aspired to do my MBA in the UK and found that the Kent MBA course and it’s modules were designed specifically for people like me who wish to get out into the business world and flourish.

I have experience in range of diverse areas including feature film production, industrial business development & operations management, restauranteur and sales and distribution. More recently, I have worked in the home automation industry as a distributor.

  • While working in the capacity of Head of Business Development & Operations. S.M.I.S Industrial Consultancy Services (P) Ltd, one of my first projects involved managing the expansion of the employee pool. I was involved in the recruitment of 250 new employees.
  • Successfully running Swadh Restaurant Thrissur.
  • I successfully negotiated four large scale projects with Accord while working at Viem Traders.

With a formal postgraduate education in Business Administration at the University of Kent, I intend to sharpen my entrepreneurial acumen and network with like-minded individuals on an international platform. As an MBA student at the University of Kent, I hope to share my experiences – my successes and my failures, with my peers, teachers, and potential business partners. An MBA from the University of Kent will empower and strengthen my already keen business instincts. Finally, after graduation, I wish to continue improving my businesses – S.M.I.S, SWADH and VIEM and create a legacy of successful and thriving businesses.

For those looking to get into business, always dream big, work hard and play harder. Always have an open mind and keep learning from every experience. Never fear problems you might face – simply have a calm mind and think carefully how to face the problem and overcome it. Always treat everyone the way you wish to be treated. Be open to taking risks, but with the confidence of achieving what you have planned by doing as much research as possible in the field you want to make your way into.
