It will cover writing techniques for when space is limited online and how to respond to customer comments and complaints on social media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You will learn how to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define your brand on social media<\/li>\n<li>Write for social media<\/li>\n<li>Use tools for content marketing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The workshop is part of the Business Start-Up Journey, but open to any students or staff interested in finding out more about writing for social media.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2020\/01\/DigitalGarage_Vert_Colour.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-8984 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2020\/01\/DigitalGarage_Vert_Colour-300x138.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2020\/01\/DigitalGarage_Vert_Colour-300x138.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2020\/01\/DigitalGarage_Vert_Colour-768x353.png 768w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2020\/01\/DigitalGarage_Vert_Colour.png 976w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/learndigital.withgoogle.com\/digitalgarage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Digital Garage<\/a> is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google<\/a>\u2019s flagship investment programmes in the UK, where anyone can come and learn free digital skills through a range of courses or 1:1 sessions. Since launching the Google Digital Garage in 2015, over 300,000 people have benefitted from Google\u2019s free face-to-face training on digital know-how across 250 locations in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ronan Harris, Google UK &amp; Ireland Managing Director, said<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8216;In the digital age, a basic understanding of how the online world works is useful and when it comes to business, it\u2019s essential.
