{"id":784,"date":"2012-03-14T12:19:27","date_gmt":"2012-03-14T12:19:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/?p=784"},"modified":"2012-04-11T11:26:39","modified_gmt":"2012-04-11T10:26:39","slug":"templeman-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/2012\/03\/templeman-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"The Templeman Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Templeman Scholarship will support a Kent graduate to undertake a full-time taught postgraduate degree at the University of Kent.<\/p>\n<p>This scholarship will cover tuition fees for one year, and is open to full-time home\/EU or overseas fee-paying applicants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be University of Kent graduates<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have received, and accepted, an offer for a full-time taught postgraduate degree (any subject) at the University of Kent for 2012-13<\/li>\n<li>Full-time UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must hold, or be expected to achieve, a first class honours degree from Kent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered for this scholarship applicants must submit an email to the Scholarships Unit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subject line: Templeman Scholarship<\/li>\n<li>Include your full name, application number or student id number in the email<\/li>\n<li>Attach a covering letter addressing &#8220;Why I wish to pursue my chosen postgraduate degree at Kent&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications should be emailed to the Scholarships Unit: <a href=\"mailto:scholarships@kent.ac.uk?subject=Templeman Scholarship\">scholarships@kent.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for receipt of applications is Tuesday 1 May 2012. The successful applicant will be informed by the end of June 2012.
