The Summit was organised in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses<\/a>, Institute of Directors<\/a> and Locate in Kent<\/a>. Over 350 delegates from the regional business community, local government and County educational institutions took part to discuss working together in ensuring sustainable economic growth for Kent.<\/p>\n Plenary presentations followed by 15 round table discussions focused on priority areas for the County including; transport infrastructure, placemaking, innovation & productivity and skills development. Smarter use of technology, the need for integrated planning, embracing the creative industries, more knowledge sharing and a focus on sustainable solutions were some of the suggestions translated into concrete actions for 2019.<\/p>\n Next year\u2019s Kent Business Summit will take place on Friday 10 January, once again at the Business School\u2019s Sibson building.
