Jane is an alumni of\u00a0Sydney&#8217;s prestigious social leadership programme and business fellow of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ox.ac.uk\/\">Oxford University<\/a> and today\u00a0focuses on building and serving business that have a clear purpose and social impact.<\/p>\n<p>__________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Shaun Beaney<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4>Corporate Finance Faculty, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icaew.com\/\">ICAEW<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2019\/05\/Shaun-Beaney-pic-Sep-2015-b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7568 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2019\/05\/Shaun-Beaney-pic-Sep-2015-b-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"165\" height=\"248\" \/><\/a>Colin works on communications, public policy and\u00a0advisory projects for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icaew.com\/technical\/corporate-finance\/corporate-finance-faculty\">Corporate Finance Faculty<\/a>, particularly on innovation investment, access to finance, high-growth companies and venture capital.<\/p>\n<p>Colin is currently leading a new project, AI in Corporate Advisory, and chairs\u00a0<a style=\"background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.immerseuk.org\/\">Immerse UK\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Access to Finance &amp; Investment Working Group. Colin has led Business Relationship Director Teams in Santander in London, Kent Surrey &amp; Sussex. He currently heads a team of thirty five including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>experienced senior Business Relationship Directors<\/li>\n<li>locally branch based Business Relations Managers<\/li>\n<li>support team members looking after over fifty five thousand customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Their support extends beyond simple banking facilities and finance and Colin\u2019s team run \u2018Breakthrough\u2019 activity that shares insight and knowledge to help businesses prosper, make the right connections and support high growth.<\/p>\n<p>__________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Geert Struyven<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4>Partner, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowe.com\/\">Crowe<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2019\/05\/geert.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7739 size-full alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/files\/2019\/05\/geert.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"193\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a>Geert has led the Corporate Finance team in Kent since 2008 and heads up our National Business Valuation Department. Prior to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 with Arthur Andersen, he was a lecturer at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wales.ac.uk\/en\/Home.aspx\">University of Wales<\/a> where he gained an MBA and PhD.<\/p>\n<p>After gaining valuable audit experience, he moved into Corporate Finance at Arthur Andersen and subsequently to the corporate finance team at a mid-tier firm. Geert has extensive experience advising on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mergers<\/li>\n<li>Acquisitions<\/li>\n<li>MBOs<\/li>\n<li>Fund raising<\/li>\n<li>Sales mandates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For years, Geert has provided financial due diligence and other transaction support services to various funders, including major banks, private equity providers, and to our corporate client base.
