Over the last few months a number of Kent Business School (KBS) academic staff have been awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA)<\/p>\n
The SFHEA is awarded to individuals who demonstrate a personal and institutional commitment to professionalism in learning and teaching in higher education.<\/p>\n
We would like to congratulate the following on their successful application to become fellows of the HEA:<\/p>\n
Dr Alison Dean<\/a>, Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management, KBS & Associate Dean Education, Faculty of Social Sciences.<\/p>\n Professor Desmond Doran<\/a>, Professor of Practice in Management<\/p>\n Dr Catherine Robinson,<\/a> Director of Graduate Studies (Taught)<\/p>\n Dr Robinson, commented \u201cThe Senior Fellowship was a great experience. It offered me space to think about just how much teaching leadership I\u2019d been involved with and how much I\u2019ve changed and developed.\u00a0The certification itself means I have personal validation of all that effort but also it gives me confidence to go for more senior roles in education and teaching.
