Students at Kent Business School will have the chance to de-stress during the exam period when local charity Pets as Therapy bring five adorable dogs to the Sibson building.<\/p>\n
All are welcome to attend. The dogs and their owners will be\u00a0visiting on:<\/p>\n
Tuesday 9 May 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n 12.00 – 15:00<\/strong><\/p>\n Sibson Atrium (Canterbury Campus).<\/strong><\/p>\n Visiting the school will be Jem (German Shepherd), Holly (Springer Spaniel), Millie (Labrador cross), Daffy (Shihtzu cross), Sabie (Bull Terrier\/ Labrador cross) and Bunty (Golden Retriever). Find out more about Pets as Therapy<\/a>.<\/p>\n Interaction with the dogs is free-of-charge, but there will be the opportunity to donate to the charity, which provides therapeutic visits to hospitals, nursing and care homes as well as special needs schools and other establishments.<\/p>\n Melissa Neave, Vice-President of the Kent Business Society<\/a>, has organised the visit: ‘Everyone is really stressed around exam time and, as a society, we just thought it would be fun to try something new, particularly as we are in the new Sibson building, and hopefully raise some money for a really great charity.’<\/p>\n For advice and help on surviving exam stress, and looking after your mental health and wellbeing, contact the University Wellbeing Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
