Last week Kent Business School welcomed 12 MBA students from the Technical University of Ingolstadt in Bayern, facilitating them in studying a module on intercultural management to complement their studies in Germany. <\/p>\n
The young executives immersed themselves in a range of lectures, met with KBS MBA <\/a>students, explored Canterbury and visited regional corporate SAGA<\/a>.<\/p>\n The programme highlighted how much intercultural communication has become an everyday aspect of our lives; a team of European academics taught a diverse international group studying in German on how to operate in a diverse working environment.<\/p>\n SAGA representative Ray Brown gave a very inspiring talk about how SAGA creates an inclusive community at work, for example through an in-house cr\u00e8che, regular staff socials and flexibility surrounding staff annual leave.<\/p>\n KBS gave the students the opportunity to visit historic Canterbury, including a guided tour of Canterbury Cathedral and a River Tour. This was followed by a\u00a0social wine evening in Canterbury that \u00a0gave everyone involved in the programme a chance to meet with the students on a more personal level and swap stories on work, life and European politics.<\/p>\n The group was unanimously positive about their week at Kent Business School<\/a>, praising the interactive nature of the lectures and expertise of the academic staff<\/a>.
