{"id":4252,"date":"2016-04-14T16:21:37","date_gmt":"2016-04-14T15:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/?p=4252"},"modified":"2016-04-14T16:21:37","modified_gmt":"2016-04-14T15:21:37","slug":"msc-finance-and-management-students-step-up-to-integrated-technologies-limiteds-business-challenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/2016\/04\/msc-finance-and-management-students-step-up-to-integrated-technologies-limiteds-business-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"MSc Finance and Management students step up to Integrated Technologies Limited\u2019s business challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/742\/finance-and-management\">MSc Finance and Management<\/a> programme, students recently participated in a business challenge with Integrated Technologies Limited (ITL). \u00a0The company specialises in product development, product design and medical device manufacturing and operates internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Kent Business School postgraduate students were tasked with helping <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itl.co.uk\/\">ITL<\/a> to understand the operational requirements for ITL\u2019s evolving subsidiary in the USA and to develop a successful growth strategy by deepening existing and new operational responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>MSc Finance and Management students presented their business solutions before a panel that included ITL\u2019s Business Development Director, Mr Greg Smith, and Marketing and Business Development Manager, Mr Carl Lincoln.<\/p>\n<p>As ITL\u2019s Greg Smith said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was refreshing to get a new perspective on what we are doing in the US now and get suggestions on how we can grow the operation in the future.
