{"id":4078,"date":"2014-03-11T15:51:14","date_gmt":"2014-03-11T15:51:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/mbyond-news\/?p=71"},"modified":"2016-09-26T11:45:04","modified_gmt":"2016-09-26T10:45:04","slug":"kent-mba-consultancy-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/2014\/03\/kent-mba-consultancy-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent MBA Consultancy week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had a busy consultancy week last week (3-6th March 2014) where 12 companies arrived at Kent Business School to discuss various aspects and challenges about their businesses and to seek advice and help from our MBA students.<\/p>\n<p>The feedback we received from the participating companies was overwhelmingly positive and the students felt that they&#8217;d gained a tremendous amount of experience with a variety of businesses and issues that these businesses brought.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/mbyond-news\/files\/2014\/03\/consultancy-week.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-73\" alt=\"2013 KentMBA Consultancy Week\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/mbyond-news\/files\/2014\/03\/consultancy-week.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"281\" \/><\/a>One business participant said that the students\u00a0&#8220;all spoke with enthusiasm, conviction and\u00a0authority. I learnt a great deal and will change a number of things I was planning to do. I have a clearer idea of how to reach out to my target customers and towards the end of the session the useful, creative ideas really flowed&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Another client wrote that &#8220;the session&#8217;s been comprehensive and truly helpful and informative.\u00a0It&#8217;s given us lots to think about and certainly paved the way of going forward.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I hope you found the task of some interest &#8211; certainly you all did a excellent job representing KBS and the MBA and I certainly will recommend this to others.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I am very pleased that the class took on the various challenges with such enthusiasm and am very proud of their many\u00a0innovative and enterprising solutions that they&#8217;ve suggested.
