The <a href=\"http:\/\/calgaryherald.com\/business\/local-business\/u-of-c-study-explores-challenges-facing-albertas-smaller-companies\">Calgary Herald<\/a> acknowledged the importance of Dr Raby\u2019s research; a project that will survey more than 1,000 companies across Alberta, a province of Canada where SMEs account for 98.2 per cent of the business population and 91.7 per cent of all employment.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Raby\u2019s study is funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leverhulme.ac.uk\/funding\/grant-schemes\/research-fellowships\">Leverhulme Trust<\/a> and will examine a range of issues facing the growth of SMEs from competitive strategy and leadership to innovation, technology and human resource development.
