As an ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) financed programme, the E-iNet project was facilitated through a consortium of Universities that included Kent.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Simon Raby and Toby Lindsay of Kent Business School\u2019s Centre for Employment, Competitiveness and Growth (ECG), successfully delivered a package of support to owner-managers running and leading SMEs. These organisations provide environmental, renewable, and low carbon products and service solutions. As Dr Simon Raby commented:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt was an absolute pleasure to work with this group of ambitious business owners and to have the opportunity to apply our research to support and impact regional economic development\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In total, 34 companies were supported through the University of Kent\u2019s E-iNet, 12 of which accessed support from Kent Business School. Business participants received between 12 and 20 hours of subsidised access to bespoke business advice.<\/p>\n<p>Following the event, Andrew Fletcher, network participant and MD of Carbon Control Ltd. shared:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>\u201cThank you for the extremely interesting and productive tailored business development report, and for organising and facilitating the event.
