Kent Business School is pleased to welcome Ruth Simpson as a visiting Professor from 1st October 2014 until 30th September 2016. Currently Professor Simpson is a Professor of Management at Brunel Business School.<\/p>\n
As Director of Research she introduced a successful series of academic writing workshops and she has a particular interest in supporting staff and PhD students in their publication activities.<\/p>\n
Her research interests include gender and careers, gender and emotions and gender and organizations.\u00a0 She was co-founder and for many years co-editor of the International Journal of Work Organization and Emotions.<\/p>\n
She is currently associate editor for Gender Work and Organization and holds several other editorial roles.\u00a0 She has published widely in her field and is a long standing collaborator with Dr Patricia Lewis<\/a> from KBS.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
