{"id":3377,"date":"2014-04-15T11:09:47","date_gmt":"2014-04-15T10:09:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/?p=3377"},"modified":"2022-02-22T21:58:49","modified_gmt":"2022-02-22T21:58:49","slug":"managerial-mindsets-toward-corporate-social-responsibility-the-case-of-auto-industry-in-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kbs-news-events\/2014\/04\/managerial-mindsets-toward-corporate-social-responsibility-the-case-of-auto-industry-in-iran\/","title":{"rendered":"Managerial Mindsets Toward Corporate Social Responsibility: The Case of Auto Industry in Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Despite a much evidence on the potential role of senior management in the success of corporate social responsibility initiatives in Western-dominated organizational contexts, little attempt has been made to document the how managers think about corporate social responsibility in organizations in Muslim-dominated countries in the Middle East region.\u00a0 New research from a team including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/kbs\/profiles\/staff\/soltani_ebrahim.html\">Professor Ebrahim Soltani<\/a> and \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/kbs\/profiles\/staff\/iqbal_abdullah.html\">Dr Abdullah Iqbal<\/a> of Kent Business School provides case studies of corporate social responsibility attitudes in three manufacturing firms operating in Iran\u2019s auto industry.
