About EC Harris<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you an undergraduate who\u2019s keen to experience life in a professional services consultancy? EC Harris provides solutions to leading organisations through the management of the construction and operation of built assets. We\u2019ve recently worked on projects such as Shell Global Enterprise Services Framework, Belfast Titanic, the British Royal Wedding and Jubilee Celebrations, Doha Festival City, Ashgal Qatar, UK Offshore Wind Farms, BAA and the Singapore Sports Hub plus many more.<\/p>\n

The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Year Out or a Summer Placement with the firm will provide an ideal platform for your early professional and personal development, with every support to help you begin a successful and rewarding career.<\/p>\n

A Year Out (in the third year of your sandwich degree) will give you the chance to be involved in real projects across our key sectors. From the outset, you\u2019ll be applying your knowledge and incorporating this with continuous learning from our innovative practices. You\u2019ll also gain the skills and experience to start working towards your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) or equivalent qualification. As well as attending in-house training sessions, you\u2019ll be guided by a counsellor and supervisor. Depending on your performance, we might be able to sponsor your final year at university and offer you a graduate position once you finish your degree.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you could take a Summer Placement. Spending 6-12 weeks with us over the summer is a great way to pick up hands-on experience. You’ll gain broad knowledge and an understanding of your future career prospects, as well as having a great time with the team. If it all goes well, there is the opportunity for either a future placement or final year sponsorship and a graduate job offer.<\/p>\n

It would be useful if you are studying for a degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Project Management, although we encourage applications from candidates from other disciplines.<\/p>\n
