To maintain computer and IS hardware and provide local technical support, guidance and assistance to users on site at Tilmanstone Salads, acting as liaison with Bakkavor\u2019s central IS team where appropriate<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Role Accountabilities:<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1<\/b><\/td>\nMaintenance of business unit computer and IS hardware.\u00a0 This involves, dismantling, repairing and trouble shooting for common problems.\u00a0 Liaison with third party suppliers to order replacement parts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/td>\n

Maintain and support network infrastructure.\u00a0 This involves setting up cabling for phones and data, trouble shooting network problems.\u00a0 Liaison with the Engineering department to set up network devices and factory equipment. \u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3<\/b><\/td>\nMaintenance of telephone communication system.\u00a0 This involves, trouble shooting issues, maintenance of handsets and cabling, maintain database of users names via third party.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4<\/b><\/td>\nMaintenance of network equipment including; T&A system, Access Control, CCTV, RFID etc.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
5<\/b><\/td>\nStrict enforcement of the current IT Standards and Policies.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/td>\n

Lead on IS projects, as directed by the business, to further improve the systems, hardware and software on site.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
7<\/b><\/td>\nTake responsibility for and report against the local IT maintenance budget.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
8<\/b><\/td>\nRaise purchase orders for all new IT equipment purchases.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
9<\/b><\/td>\nSite Champion for migration from Windows XP to Windows 7, liasing closely with group IS.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
10<\/b><\/p>\n

Ensure site Printers are available to local users at all times, by responding promptly to faults and minimizing downtime.\u00a0 Maintain toner supply.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
11<\/b><\/td>\nLocal Spreadsheet development, technical support and guidance to users with office applications.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
