Job Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

McDonald’s Europe Limited supports over 7,000 restaurants in more than 40 markets throughout Europe. \u00a0\u00a0The Finance department\u2019s team goal is to provide support and guidance to these markets, departments and suppliers on all financial matters.<\/p>\n

Principle Responsibiliti<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Assist with E&Y Audit Preparation (External Auditors)<\/p>\n
    \n
  • Collating Data for the Client Assisting Schedule<\/li>\n
  • Journal Entries Selection<\/li>\n
  • Invoice copies<\/li>\n
  • Balance Confirmation<\/li>\n
  • Proof of Payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Assist with 2012 Planning Process(Prelim Plan & Plan)<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Building Workbooks for Prelim Plan and Plan<\/li>\n
    • Gathering data for Matrices (Travel)<\/li>\n
    • Cost analysis by Reporting Line<\/li>\n
    • Loading Data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Reviewing the Fixed Assets Register<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Ensuring invoices are coded to the right cost centre and categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Reviewing IT Invoices to be capitalised<\/p>\n

          \n
        • 2012 & 2013 invoices paid to be reviewed<\/li>\n
        • Ensuring invoices are coded to the right cost centre and categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          I\/C Reconciliation with Markets & McDonald\u2019s Corporation<\/p>\n

          Assisting with tracking invoices and chasing suppliers for invoices<\/p>\n

          Open Item and G&A Accounting<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Ensure correct coding<\/li>\n
          • Reclass to correct Open Item<\/li>\n
          • Building & Maintaining Reports for Other Prof, M&C and IT Service Costs<\/li>\n
          • Assisting Departments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Assist with Projection<\/p>\n

              \n
            • Updating Projection tools with Actual costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\n

Knowledge and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high standard of literacy for the production of reports and written correspondence<\/p>\n

Strong organisational and time management skills<\/p>\n

Good telephone manner<\/p>\n

Intermediate to advanced skills in all Microsoft Office packages<\/p>\n

Self-starter, with ability to use own initiative and spot opportunities<\/p>\n

A mature attitude and approach<\/p>\n

Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business<\/p>\n

Well-presented with a\u00a0 professional manner<\/p>\n
