It brought together research students and academic staff in an intellectually stimulating environment characterised by curiosity, critical reflection, interdisciplinary exchange, and lively discussion.

The photographs capture not only the energy of the event but also the richness of the presentations by Professor Saridakis and Dr Arrieta Paredes, as well as the engaging discussions among the speakers, our distinguished panellists, and the participants.

As Professor Saridakis reflected:

“Events like this remind us of the fundamental purpose of universities, which is to nurture curiosity, inspire creativity, and generate insights that deepen our understanding of the world and contribute to human progress.

Research is not simply about finding answers; it is also about asking meaningful questions, challenging established theories, connecting ideas, exploring new avenues of inquiry, reflecting on the meaning of our existence, and making sense of the phenomena that shape the world around us. Knowledge is the key to unlocking the hidden mysteries of the world, guiding us on our ongoing journey towards deeper understanding and the pursuit of truth.

The enthusiasm and engagement throughout the workshop were so great that our discussions continued for four hours, demonstrating the value of bringing people together to exchange perspectives, challenge ideas, and learn from one another.

My sincere thanks go to all colleagues who supported the event, our distinguished panellists for sharing their expertise, and all participants for their thoughtful contributions.

Together, we demonstrated how collaborative intellectual inquiry can inspire the next generation of researchers, advance our collective knowledge and understanding, and contribute to building a better future for all.”

On Wednesday 21 October, we had the pleasure of hosting From Research Questions to Impact: Navigating the Research Journey, a workshop delivered by two academics … Read more

[9111
263995,263996
post-23730","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-staff-news","tag-kent-business-school-research","tag-lase
["GET
