We were delighted to host the Academy of Marketing Science\u2019s World Marketing Congress \u00a0from 11<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0to 14<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> July 2023 at our award-winning Sibson Building.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The event provided an opportunity for marketing scholars to reflect on and share ideas about the changing nature of marketing as a discipline, in a collegial and open forum.<\/span><\/p>\n

New knowledge tackling global and economic challenges was explored, continuing a tradition of collegial debate around the concept of marketing and its contribution to business and society at large.<\/span><\/p>\n

Academics from Kent Business School included Program Chairs\u00a0Professor Ben Lowe<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Dr Dan Petrovici<\/a>\u00a0(with Emeritus Professor Michael Czinkota from Georgetown University) and arrangements chair\u00a0Dr Eddie Luo<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Lowe remarked: ‘The 2023 Congress at our Sibson Building was a forum for insightful ideas and engaging discussions about topics across the marketing spectrum through expert panel sessions, special topic sessions and peer reviewed, cutting edge research presentations.\u2019<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Academy of Marketing Science Foundation is an international, scholarly, professional organisation, dedicated to promoting high standards and excellence in the creation and dissemination of marketing knowledge and has been holding Congress events since 1983.<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
