The Journey will largely be based in the <strong>ASPIRE<\/strong> space (Accelerator Space for Innovation and Enterprise) in the Sibson building, Canterbury. However events will take place across both the Canterbury and Medway campuses.<\/p>\n<p>The programme&#8217;s focus on innovation will enhance your <strong>employability<\/strong>. You will learn how to assess risk, how to turn challenges into opportunity and develop leadership, communication, presentation and team-working skills.<\/p>\n<h2>Six steps to success<\/h2>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>1. Be inspired<\/h4>\n<p>Meet successful business people and fellow student entrepreneurs. Take part in the Ideas Hack to discover or develop your own business idea. Find new partners to work with.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>2. Explore and learn<\/h4>\n<p>Work with business experts to learn about key business start-up areas including market research, product launch, social media and intellectual property.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>3. Get investor-ready<\/h4>\n<p>Develop your business plan with one-to-one advice from our Entrepreneur in Residence and Tech Entrepreneur in Residence.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4>4. She is focusing on building her presence on social media and providing treatment boxes for clients before launching her website later this year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kent-business-matters\/files\/2018\/03\/NICCOLO-PAGLIA.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2691 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/kent-business-matters\/files\/2018\/03\/NICCOLO-PAGLIA.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Niccolo Paglia<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Student Entrepreneur &#8211; E-Jobs <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Niccolo Paglia is an International Business student at Kent Business School. His business idea, <em>E-Jobs <\/em>\u2013 a multi-media CV creation platform \u2013 secured a \u00a3500 prize in the finals of the 2018 Business Start- Up Journey.<\/p>\n<h2>Key dates<\/h2>\n<p>The majority of the Business Start-Up Journey will be delivered on <strong>Wednesday afternoons<\/strong>, making it easy to fit around your studies.<\/p>\n<p>The Campus Shuttle is a free coach service between Medway and Canterbury campuses.
