Two of her papers were named as amongst the most influential in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/action\/showMostReadArticles?journalCode=tjsm20\">Journal of Simulation<\/a> of the past 10 years. These papers were <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/17477778.2020.1751570?utm_source=CPB&amp;utm_medium=cms&amp;utm_campaign=JRA25403\">How simulation modelling can help reduce the impact of COVID-19<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1057\/palgrave.jos.4250025?utm_source=CPB&amp;utm_medium=cms&amp;utm_campaign=JRA25403\">Using soft systems methodology to determine the simulation study objectives.\u00a0<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/kent-business-school\/people\/2425\/kotiadis-kathy\">Dr Kathy Kotiadis<\/a>\u00a0is a Reader in Management Science\/Operational Research at Kent Business School and is an expert in developing quantitative and qualitative modelling approaches to support stakeholder engagement, primarily in Health Care.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reader in Management Science Dr Kathy Kotiadis has been honoured for her contribution to STEM careers.
