Kent Business School graduate, Andrew Christopher, is preparing to pitch for a place in the Santander Universities Emerging Entrepreneurs finals \u2013 where he could win \u00a330,000 to boost his business.<\/p>\n
Andrew, founded his start-up business LDrive<\/a>, a platform connecting independent driving instructors with learner drivers, while studying Business and Management<\/a> at Kent Business School\u2019s<\/a> (KBS) Medway<\/a> campus.<\/p>\n He has been taking part in the Santander programme<\/a> after being nominated by the University of Kent<\/a>.<\/p>\n Now reaching the final stages, Andrew will pitch to a panel of judges including an investor and an entrepreneur to try to earn a place in the competition finals.<\/p>\n His 3-minute pitch which takes place on September 21 will be evaluated in key business areas<\/p>\n There will be 8 finalists who will go on to pitch at the National Final on 29 September. The Emerging Entrepreneurs programme supports early-stage founders to develop their start-ups. Andrew said:<\/p>\n \u201cThe Emerging Entrepreneurs programme has been fantastic and really helped me to develop my start-up.
