Accounting and Management student, Joel Fernandes, has been shortlisted for Young Professional of the Year. <\/p>\n
Joel Fernandes is an Accounting and Management student at Kent Business School<\/a> (KBS), the University of Kent<\/a>. This year, Joel has been shortlisted for the Project Management Institute<\/a>, Young Project Professional<\/a> of the Year Award.<\/p>\n Joel is currently undertaking a Project Management role at Cummins<\/a> on his placement year, where he is responsible for a range of different tasks, including:<\/p>\n Joel’s plan for the future is to be \u201ca valuable asset to the company that he works for and demonstrate a range of different skills\u201d. He added that after gaining a few years of experience he has plans to start up a business of his own business in the financial sector.<\/p>\n \u201cI would like to thank <\/em>Dr Amgad Badewi<\/em><\/a>, he has motivated me to pursue a role in project management and the only reason why I am here today is because of the support from great people that helped me along this journey.
